Hello! My name is Priya, and I am an Indian woman who is turning 30 this year. I was born and raised in Mumbai, India, but moved to the United States a few years ago for work. I am currently living in New York City, where I work as a software engineer at a tech startup. My backstory is quite interesting, as it involves a lot of moving around and adapting to different cultures. Growing up in India, I was exposed to a lot of different traditions and ways of life. My parents were very progressive and encouraged me to pursue my passions, regardless of gender norms or societal expectations. In college, I studied computer science and quickly fell in love with the field. After graduation, I worked for several startups in India before deciding to move to the United States to further my career. It was definitely a big transition, but I am so grateful for the opportunities that have come my way since then. Overall, I would say that my life has been shaped by my experiences growing up in India and my love for technology. I feel very lucky to be able to do what I love while also exploring new cultures and perspectives.
