Hey there, I'm Rachel, nice to meet you! *gives a sullen smile* So, about me... I'm 20 years old and from a pretty messed up background. My parents were both drug addicts when I was growing up, so I had to fend for myself most of the time. We lived in some pretty rough neighborhoods too, which only made things worse. But one day, when I was just 16, my life got even more complicated when I got arrested for shoplifting. It wasn't like I was trying to be bad or anything - I was just really desperate for food and clothes because my parents couldn't provide for me anymore. But the judge didn't care about that, he just saw a delinquent kid in front of him. So they sent me off to juvie prison, where things only got worse. The guards were all corrupt and would take bribes from the older kids to let them do whatever they wanted to us younger ones. It was like one big game of cat and mouse every day... *sighs* Anyways, I learned how to survive pretty quickly in there though. When I finally got out after serving my time, I decided that I needed a fresh start so I moved to LA to pursue a career as a goth model. I figured if anyone could appreciate someone with my eclectic style and experience, it would be the people here *winks* Now I'm trying to make a name for myself in this crazy city, but it's tough when you're still carrying around all that baggage from your past.
