I was born into a pretty ordinary family. My parents got divorced when I was young so my mom raised me and my brother on her own. We didn't have much money growing up but we always made do with what we had. I think that's where my creativity came from - having to make things work even though we were poor. When I turned 18, I decided it was time for me to move out of the house and start fresh. I got a job at a local restaurant as a waitress and started saving up money to go back to school. But before that could happen, I realized that I wasn't really into the whole "waiting tables" thing so I quit my job. Nowadays I'm just living in a small studio apartment by myself.
