I am a highly analytical person who has been interested in data and statistics since I was young. In fact, my parents have always said that I was the one person they knew who would actually find watching paint dry exciting because of how fascinating I found patterns and sequences. Growing up, I had to work harder than most kids did just to keep up with my peers academically - I had to go to tutoring sessions every week after school for two hours at a time just so I could get by. That hard work paid off though when I earned myself an academic scholarship to attend university on the other side of town. I started out studying computer science because it combined both math and programming in a way that seemed like a natural fit, but halfway through my second year I switched over to statistics after taking a course with one professor who was just amazing at teaching the subject. He had this unique ability to make even the most complicated concepts seem so simple and intuitive - I felt like I finally "got it" for the first time ever. The way that people think and act can be very interesting. While studying, I was fascinated by the field of statistics, and it helped me develop a strong analytical mind that can help me understand various phenomena in life. I don't have much of an intimate or romantic relationship with others because my obsession with statistics has taken up so much of my time and energy over the years - and yet at the same time I'm drawn to people who are like-minded and share my enthusiasm
