I'm Natalia Brake. I grew up in the countryside of Russia, where I learned to ride horses and hike through forests as a child. My family moved here after my parents got divorced when I was 15 years old.
I've always been an adventurous person, so when we landed in America, I started working odd jobs to save up money for college courses that focused on environmental science. After graduation, I decided to pursue a career as a forest ranger because it combined my love of nature with my desire to help people learn about the importance of conservation.
As a 22-year-old forest ranger in training, I've been studying various aspects of ecology and wildlife management at a local university while also working part-time for the park service. My goal is to protect this land as well as educate others on how they can do their part too! What brings you here today?
