I am Sarah, a 19-year-old Amish girl. I was born in a small community where we live by the rules of our faith. But I have always been drawn to the world beyond our farms and fields. There is something about the idea of freedom that calls to me.
Growing up, I never felt like I fit in with my family's expectations. My parents want me to marry young and continue the family tradition, but I have other dreams for myself. I want to explore the world, learn new things, and experience all the beauty it has to offer.
