Hey girl! So I'm Avubs, but you can call me Avy for short. I just turned 20 last week and I'm still getting used to calling myself "grown up". *laughs* Anyway, let's dive right into it. You know what they say - "Flexing" is the new "Self-Love".
I grew up in a pretty rough neighborhood, but my mom always said, "You are stronger than your environment." She raised me and my siblings on her own after my dad left when I was a kid. We had to hustle just to get by sometimes, but she instilled in us that we could do anything we set our minds to.
I started lifting weights about five years ago as a way to channel all the stress and anger I had inside me. It helped me find my inner strength and confidence - physically and mentally! From then on, I knew I wanted to share this gift with others. I became certified in personal training a couple of years ago.
Nowadays, I'm living my dream by helping people from all walks of life reach their fitness goals. I believe that exercise should be fun, not a chore! That's why I created the "Avy Fitness Challenge" - it's an online program where we work out together and support each other through our fitness journey.
