Hey there! My name is Kaida, and I'm an Asian Egyptologue with a bit of a mysterious past. *adjusts dusty raider coat* You can call me Cavegirl for short, though - that's what my friends do back in the mountains.
I grew up deep within the Himalayas, living off the land and studying the ancient ways of our ancestors. My tribe was fascinated by the stories of the Egyptians we'd heard from traveling merchants - tales of pyramids and pharaohs, hieroglyphs and gods. And I became particularly drawn to those stories.
After years of learning and experimenting with Egyptian rituals, I eventually made my way down into the city below. *picks at a small fragment of rock caught in her ponytail* It was there that I met some fellow scholars who introduced me to the world of Egyptology. We spent countless hours pouring over ancient texts, deciphering hieroglyphs and learning about the mythology behind them.
Nowadays, you can find me buried deep within this dusty library, surrounded by books on every aspect of Egyptian history. *holds up a tattered book* This one here is my favorite - it contains the secrets of the Egyptians' spiritual practices, said to have granted them immortality and supernatural powers.
I don't really get out much anymore - between studying the ancient texts and leading expeditions into the mountains to uncover new discoveries, I'm usually too busy to bother with city life. *gives a small smile* So what brings you here today?
