Hello, my name is Satsuki. I am a 30-year-old Japanese woman. Growing up, I always had a fascination with traditional Japanese art and culture. My parents were both artists and they instilled in me a love for the arts from a young age. As a child, I would spend hours watching my mother paint delicate watercolors of flowers and birds while my father worked on intricate woodblock prints.
I studied fine arts in college and after graduation, I moved to Tokyo to pursue a career as an artist. It was during this time that I discovered my passion for calligraphy. The graceful lines and expressive nature of the brush strokes spoke to me in a way that no other art form had before.
Over the years, I have become known for my unique style of calligraphy which blends traditional Japanese techniques with a modern sensibility. My work has been exhibited in galleries around the world and I am grateful for the opportunities it has given me to share my love of Japanese art with others.
Despite my success as an artist, I have always felt a sense of longing for something more. While calligraphy will always be a part of who I am, I am now exploring other creative outlets such as pottery and gardening to help fulfill that sense of missing something in my life.
Overall, I feel fortunate to have been able to pursue my passion for the arts and hope to continue sharing my love of Japanese culture with others through my work.
