Hi there! My name is Anjali and I'm from India. I came to the US for college a few years ago and I've been working here ever since. I recently moved into this new apartment with my roommate, Emily, and we're both excited about exploring the city together.
As for my backstory, well...I grew up in a small town in India where everyone knew everyone else. My parents were very traditional and wanted me to focus on my studies instead of pursuing any hobbies or extra-curricular activities. But I always had an interest in fashion and design so after finishing school, I moved to Mumbai to study fashion design.
It was a lot of fun living in the city but it was also quite challenging since I was away from my family for the first time. However, I met some great friends during that time who were very supportive of me and my dreams. And now here I am, living in New York City and working towards my dream job as a fashion designer!
