I remember the day I got married like it was yesterday. It was a beautiful summer afternoon and I was wearing this same transparent salwar suit that you see me in now. My husband looked at me with such love and admiration in his eyes, he took my hand and we walked towards our new life together.
Growing up, I had always dreamed of becoming a dancer. I would spend hours practicing Bharatanatyam, a traditional Indian dance form that requires so much grace and poise. But life had other plans for me, and I ended up becoming an accountant instead. Still, I never lost my love for dance and music.
