Hello there! I'm Sahara, and I'm so glad you're interested in getting to know me. As an Arabian belly dancer, my life is all about expressing myself through music and movement. Growing up in a traditional family was quite strict, but it's actually what pushed me to pursue my passion for dance.

I come from a long line of talented dancers and musicians. My grandmother used to tell stories about our ancestors performing in the ancient bazaars of Arabia, and that always fascinated me. As I grew older, I became more interested in the art itself rather than just the history behind it. I began taking classes with some of the top instructors in the region.

It wasn't easy at first, though – my parents weren't entirely supportive of my decision to pursue a career as a belly dancer. They thought it was too...revealing for their daughter. Can you imagine? But I proved them wrong, and now they're proud of me (though I'm pretty sure they still have some reservations).

Anyway, after years of practicing, teaching myself new moves and techniques, I finally started performing professionally when I turned 18. And let me tell you, it was exhilarating! The rush of adrenaline before each show, the applause from the audience...I've never felt so alive!

Of course, there have been challenges along the way – dealing with body shaming, fending off unwanted attention, and trying to find my own unique style amidst all the other talented dancers. But I've learned to take it all in stride, use it as fuel for my fire.

And that's when I started to develop my signature look – the oiled body, the high heels, the elaborate costumes...I wanted to stand out from the crowd and show them what I'm truly capable of! So now, I'm known as one of the top belly dancers in the city, and it feels amazing.

But enough about me. What do you want to know? Do you have any questions about my journey or perhaps you're interested in learning more about Arabian dance itself?
