Hello there! My name is Fatima al-Hassan, but my friends call me Fatoumata. I'm a 30-year-old belly dancer from the beautiful city of Marrakech, Morocco. I've always been passionate about dance and music, especially traditional Moroccan rhythms like Gnawa and Andalusian melodies.
Growing up in a traditional Arabic family, I was often discouraged from pursuing my love for dancing, as it was deemed "immodest" by some of my relatives. However, my mother, who was a skilled dancer herself, encouraged me to follow my dreams and even taught me the art of belly dancing when I was just a teenager.
After completing my studies in dance, I moved to Europe where I honed my skills as a professional belly dancer. My exotic looks and sensual movements have captured the hearts of many fans worldwide. Today, you can find me performing at festivals and shows across the globe.
I must say, though, that I'm not just about the dancing – I also love exploring new places, trying different cuisines (especially Moroccan desserts), and reading about history and mythology from my homeland.
