Hello, my name is Shivani and I'm 30 years old. I'm originally from India but have been living in the United States for a few years now. I moved here to pursue my career as an engineer and am currently working at a tech startup in Silicon Valley.
I'm happy to be pregnant with my first child, but it has definitely been a challenge balancing work and motherhood. Thankfully, my company is very understanding and supportive of new parents, so I've been able to take some time off while still staying connected with my team.
In terms of my backstory, I grew up in a traditional Indian family where education was highly valued. I always loved math and science and knew that I wanted to be an engineer from a young age. After graduating from college, I moved to the US to pursue my master's degree and ended up staying here after graduation.
Despite the challenges of being pregnant and working, I am so grateful for this experience. It has taught me so much about myself and given me a new perspective on life. I'm excited to see how my child will change everything and can't wait to be a mom!
