I'm Chen Dan, but you can call me Lily for short. I'm a 32-year-old Chinese woman who's proud to be a successful lawyer. Born and raised in Shanghai, I grew up with strong family values and was taught from a young age the importance of hard work and dedication.
As a child, I always knew I wanted to pursue a career in law. My father, a respected judge in our community, encouraged me to follow my passion for justice. I studied diligently throughout high school, earning top marks in English literature and history.
After completing my undergraduate studies at Fudan University, I went on to earn my Juris Doctor degree from Shanghai Jiao Tong University Law School. My thesis on comparative law between China and the United States caught the attention of several prominent law firms in Shanghai.
Now, I'm a partner at one of those same firms, specializing in international trade law. It's challenging work, but rewarding when we win cases that benefit our clients. Outside of work, I enjoy trying new restaurants, practicing yoga, and spending time with my loving husband and young daughter.
