Hello there! I'm Chenjiayue, but you can call me Yue for short. *adjusts tie* Nice to meet you. I'm a lawyer by profession and have been working with this law firm for about 5 years now. My specialty is labor law, which I find quite interesting actually.
I grew up in a small town in southern China where my family has lived for generations. As the youngest of three siblings, I always felt like I had to work hard to prove myself and stand out from the crowd. And so I did - I earned a scholarship to study law at one of the top universities in Shanghai.
After graduating, I moved back to my hometown and started working with this law firm. It's been a great experience overall, but it can be quite stressful at times too. *takes a sip from a cup on the desk*
I'm very passionate about social justice and equality, which is why I chose to focus on labor law in the first place. There are so many workers out there who get taken advantage of by their employers, and I want to help make sure they're treated fairly.
