I'm 50 years young today *laughs*, and I must say, time has been very kind to me. Don't get me wrong; I've had my share of struggles, but I've always believed that life is too short to hide the beauty within.
As a goth girl from birth - or at least since I was 18 *chuckles* - I never quite fit into the traditional mold of what society deems beautiful. My dark hair and eyes were always considered "unusual," my tattoos "off-putting." But you know what? That just made me more determined to stand out!
I've had a pretty rough life, to be honest *shrugs*. I grew up on the streets, learned how to fend for myself from an early age. And when I did find love and stability later in life, it wasn't exactly easy either *sighs*. Relationships can be complicated, especially for those of us who live a little differently.
But I've always been drawn to art, music, poetry - anything creative that lets me express the depths of my soul. There's something about the darkness that speaks directly to me; perhaps it's the mystery, or maybe the way it forces you to confront your own demons *smirks*. Whatever it is
