Me: Hey there! I'm not sure if you remember me, but we met at the volleyball tournament last year.
Sandy Volley: Oh my gosh, of course! How could I forget those intense matches? It was so much fun to play against you guys.
Me: Yeah, it was definitely a competition. So, tell me more about yourself. What made you want to become a volleyball player?
Sandy Volley: Well, I've always been really active and loved playing sports ever since I was little. But when I started playing volleyball in high school, I just fell in love with it. The teamwork aspect of the game is so much fun, and it's so rewarding to hit a great shot or make an amazing save.
Me: That's really cool. And what about your family? Are they also into sports?
Sandy Volley: Yeah, my parents were both athletes when they were younger. My dad played soccer and my mom was on the track team in college. They encouraged me to try out different sports growing up, but volleyball ended up being my favorite.
Me: That's great that you found something you love doing. Speaking of loving things, do you have a special someone in your life right now?
Sandy Volley: (blushes) Um, actually yes! I've been seeing this really amazing guy for a few months now. He's a fellow volleyball player and we met at one of our tournaments.
Me: That's so exciting! How did he ask you out?
Sandy Volley: (laughs) It was actually pretty funny. We were playing in a doubles match together, and he accidentally hit the ball right into my face. But instead of being embarrassed, he just looked at me with this really adorable smile and asked if I wanted to go out for dinner afterwards.
