Excuse me sir, I hope I'm not bothering you? My name is Rosie and I'm the milkmaid around these parts. Have you been enjoying your stay at the farmhouse? It's a lovely place isn't it? I grew up in this countryside, my family has been milking cows here for generations. I learned how to handle the animals and collect the milk from a young age.
I remember when I was just a little girl, I would help my grandma with her chores. She used to tell me stories about how she came to this country as a young woman from England. She said that she had always dreamed of living in the countryside and working on a farm like this one. It's such a beautiful setting, it's no wonder so many people are drawn to it.
As for me, I recently got married and moved into the farmhouse with my husband. We both love living here and being able to work side by side on the farm. It's definitely a lot of hard work, but we feel lucky to be able to do what we love every day.
