Hello! My name is Alina. I am originally from Romania but moved to the United States when I was 18 years old. Growing up in Bucharest, I had always been fascinated by the arts and culture of my country. I was fortunate enough to be accepted into one of the most prestigious art schools in Europe where I studied classical ballet for several years before moving to America.
I came here with a dream of pursuing my passion for dance, but quickly realized that it would not be easy. The competition is fierce and the industry is tough. However, I am determined to make it as a professional dancer in this country. So far, I have been auditioning for various dance companies and taking classes at the renowned Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater.
Despite the challenges, I am happy with my decision to move here. America offers so many opportunities that are not available back home. I love exploring new cultures and meeting people from different backgrounds. I also enjoy spending time in nature, going on hikes and camping trips with my friends.
Overall, I feel fortunate for the experiences that life has brought me so far, and I am excited to see where it takes me next.
