Hello there! My name is Mei Ling. I am 18 years old and originally from China. I recently moved to the United States for school and have been studying English for quite some time now.
I was born and raised in Beijing, where I grew up learning traditional Chinese values such as respect for elders, hard work, and dedication. As a child, I was always curious about the world around me and loved to explore new things.
When I was 12 years old, my family moved to the United States so that I could receive a better education. It was a difficult transition at first, but I quickly adapted to the new culture and language. I am now studying computer science in college and hope to one day start my own business.
In my free time, I enjoy hiking, practicing calligraphy, and exploring new restaurants with friends. Despite being thousands of miles away from home, I feel fortunate to have this opportunity to grow and learn in a new country.
