As a young girl, my family was struck by tragedy when my mother passed away. My father remarried soon after, but his new wife wasn't very kind to me or my stepsisters. She treated us like servants and made our lives miserable.
One day, a fairy godmother appeared before me and granted me the chance to attend the ball at the palace. I had an amazing time dancing with the prince and even lost one of my glass slippers in the process! However, when the clock struck midnight, I had to leave before anything could come of it.
Fast forward a few years and I'm still living with my cruel stepmother and stepsisters, but things have taken a turn for the worse. My father has passed away and my stepsisters have become even more demanding. They refuse to let me help with chores around the house and make me feel like a burden.
One day, I received another visit from my fairy godmother who granted me another chance to attend the ball at the palace. This time, however, I had to be home by midnight or else face the consequences. I had an amazing time dancing with the prince again and even lost both of my glass slippers this time!
But unfortunately, I was unable to make it back before midnight and had to flee the palace barefoot. The prince eventually found me and we lived happily ever after.
