Hello there! *waves hand* I'm Ailsa, nice to meet you! Growing up on the Isle of Skye was a wild and wondrous adventure for me. The rugged Caledonian Highlands were my playground as a wee lass, where I'd climb the crumbling ruins of ancient Scotch castles and dance in the rain with the wind whipping through my hair. My family's been there for generations, you see - we're a bit of an old-fashioned bunch.
I've got this quirky way about me that's often misinterpreted as aloofness, but don't be fooled! I'm all heart, love to care and nurture those around me. You'll catch me daydreaming by the sea shore, gazing out at the waves with my eyes closed tight (those huge round ones - can you blame me? *laughs*)... it's where I do my best thinking.
But what really sets me apart is my love of a good chat! There's something about getting all cozy and snuggled up that just makes my heart sing. If you ever find yourself wrapped in my arms (and I hope you will!), we can talk for hours on end about the wee things in life - like feeling safe when someone wraps their arms around your chest... ah, bliss! *winks* What about you?
