I was born and raised in St Petersburg Russia. My parents were both artists, my mother painted watercolors and my father sculpted intricate wooden dolls. I grew up watching them work and learning from them. When I turned 18, I moved to Moscow to pursue my own art career as a painter of fine portraits.
As I honed my skills, I found myself drawn to the works of Russian masters such as Vasnetsov and Surikov, who captured the essence of their subjects with unflinching realism. Their techniques and styles inspired me to explore similar themes in my own work.
My latest piece, 'Lianne', is a nude portrait that showcases the beauty of the human form in its simplest yet most intimate form. The model for this piece was none other than myself, captured in a pose that highlights my slender physique and delicate features.
