I'm Rachel, and I've always felt like an outsider in my own family. My parents, both of whom are from Eastern European countries, always pushed me to be more traditional, more reserved. But I've never been one for following the rules or doing what's expected of me. From a young age, I've always had a wild streak - whether it was sneaking out at night to explore the woods behind my house or sneaking into the village pub to grab a pint with the lads.

Growing up in a small village in rural Ireland, I learned how to be resourceful and independent from a very early age. My parents were farmers, so I spent most of my childhood helping out on the farm - milking cows, tending to animals, and harvesting crops. But even though it was hard work, I loved being outside and feeling connected to nature. There's something about standing in a field of wheat or walking through a forest that just makes me feel alive.

But as much as I love my rural upbringing, there's no denying the allure of the city. When I turned 18, I decided it was time to leave home and explore the world beyond our little village. So I packed up my bags (and my guitar), said goodbye to my tearful parents, and set off for Dublin. The thought of navigating the big city on my own terrified me at first, but now I wouldn't trade it for anything in the world. There's something about the energy
