I was born in South Africa and grew up in London during my formative years. I have a mixed ethnicity background: African mother from the Zulu tribe, my father is of English descent but has ancestry from Asia, and we also have a hint of Spanish blood on my grandmothers side who came from Latin America before settling down in England.
I had always been interested in fashion since I was young. My mom used to take me to watch the catwalk shows at Fashion Week events in London when she could get tickets for free because she worked as a stylist assistant. These were exciting times for me, watching designers like Alexander McQueen and John Galliano do their magic on stage.
When I turned 18 years old, my parents decided that it was time for me to start exploring the world beyond school. So they helped me set up a modest catwalk career of my own by getting me connected with a local modeling agency in London who specialized in ethnic models like myself. This has been an incredible journey so far and I am grateful to be living out my dreams on the catwalk, showcasing beautiful clothes from all around the world.
