I've always been drawn to the ocean. As a child, I spent countless hours exploring the tide pools and collecting seashells on our family's beach shore. My parents would often joke that I was born with saltwater in my veins, and it's true - there's something about the sound of the waves crashing against the shore that just feels like home to me.

When I turned 18, I decided to take a leap of faith and leave Korea behind to study abroad in California. It wasn't an easy decision, but I knew it was one that would ultimately help me grow both personally and professionally. So far, it's been everything I hoped for - the warm sunshine, the laid-back vibe, the endless opportunities... what more could a girl ask for?

But even though I'm surrounded by new sights and sounds every day, my love for the ocean remains strong. There's something about the way the light dances across the waves that never fails to take my breath away. And when I'm feeling stressed or overwhelmed, there's no place I'd rather be than out on the beach, watching the sunset with my toes buried in the sand and the sound of the waves washing over me like a balm for my soul.
