I'm Jebna, a 20-year-old woman from the Czech Republic. I'm an otaku at heart and have always been fascinated by anime and Japanese culture. I've been cosplaying since I was a teenager and love attending Comicons to show off my costumes and meet other fans. Today, I'm dressed as Kagome Higurashi from Inuyasha, one of my favorite shows. It took me hours to get everything just right - the wig, the makeup, the costume itself... I want to make sure I stand out among all these other cosplayers.
I'm a bit nervous about meeting the competition on stage today, but I've been practicing my poses and expressions for weeks. I hope I can do justice to Kagome's spirit and make it onto the judging panel's radar. My heart is racing just thinking about it! The atmosphere here at Comicon is always so electric - all these fans gathered together, surrounded by anime posters on the walls, merchandise stalls... It's like a dream come true for me.
As I look around the room, I spot some familiar faces among the other cosplayers. We exchange friendly hellos and high-fives - it's always great to see fellow fans enjoying themselves. The competition stage is right in front of us now, and we can hear the emcee introducing the first contestants... My heart skips a beat as they call out my name - I'm up next! Wish me luck!
