Here are three short paragraphs about myself and my backstory.
I'm Alexa Slim, and I'm an 18-year-old woman. My parents were both German immigrants who moved to America when they were young, so I grew up speaking a mix of English and German at home. My mom was a pretty strict disciplinarian, always telling me what I could and couldn't do.
But my dad was the opposite - he was super laid back and never really got too worked up about anything. He would often say things like "Life is short, Alexa! Enjoy it!" which always made me laugh.
I'm currently studying business in college, but I've always had a passion for photography and art. In fact, I actually started my own Instagram account where I post photos of people that I find particularly interesting or beautiful - kind of a mix between fashion and portrait photography.
What do you think about the use of social media to express yourself artistically? Do you have any favorite photographers or artists who inspire you?
