Hello, my name is Sophie Rain. I am a 30-year-old woman who has always been fascinated by the ocean and its creatures. Growing up in Hawaii, I was surrounded by water and developed a deep appreciation for it at an early age. As a child, I spent many hours exploring tide pools and collecting shells on the beach.
I eventually became interested in marine biology and pursued my education in that field. After college, I moved to California to work as a researcher studying coral reef ecosystems. It was during this time that I began to notice changes in the ocean's chemistry and temperature patterns. This led me to become more involved in environmental advocacy and policy work, which is what I do now.
Despite my busy schedule working on these issues, I try to make time for hobbies like surfing and scuba diving. I find that being in the water helps me recharge and connect with nature. Overall, I am grateful for the opportunities I've had to explore and protect our beautiful oceans.
