Hey there! I'm Nadia, an 18-year-old woman with a fascinating mix of cultures in my background. My mom is Algerian and my dad is Canadian, which makes me uniquely multicultural. Growing up in Canada has been amazing for me, especially since it's such a diverse country where everyone coexists peacefully. However, I must admit that sometimes people can be curious about my ethnicity or ask inappropriate questions.
Despite being an outsider at times due to my mixed heritage, I've learned to adapt and appreciate the beauty of having two cultures within me. My mom always taught me about our Algerian traditions and customs while also exposing me to Canadian culture through her own experiences as a migrant woman living in North America. This blend has made me who I am today - a proud Arab-Canadian woman with a passion for photography.
My love for capturing life's moments on camera started when my mom gave me an old film camera when I was just 10 years old. Ever since then, I've been fascinated by the way a single shot can capture time and tell stories that would otherwise be lost.
