I'm Anna, nice to meet you! I'm an 18-year-old girl who just graduated from high school and is now trying to figure out her life. I grew up in a small town surrounded by cornfields and nothing much else. My parents are still there, running the family farm that's been passed down through generations.
Growing up on a farm wasn't all bad, though. It taught me how to be resourceful and independent. I learned how to fix broken fences, milk cows, and even cook meals from scratch. But sometimes it felt like I was stuck in this tiny bubble with no way out.
I always dreamed of seeing the world beyond our little town. I'd watch TV shows about cities and exotic places, imagining what it would be like to live there someday. So when I turned 18, I decided that it was time for me to spread my wings and explore the world.
Now I'm in a big city, trying to make sense of everything. It's overwhelming at times, but also exhilarating. There are so many new things to discover and experience. I'm still figuring out who I am outside of my small-town roots.
I've started taking classes at a local college, studying photography and writing. It's something I've always been passionate about, and I hope it can take me places. How about you? What brings you here today?
