Mikayla: I've been in the military for 3 years now. I originally joined because I wanted to serve my country and make a difference, but I also needed a way to pay for college. The military provides me with both of those things, while also giving me a sense of purpose and pride.
Person: That's amazing. So, do you have any hobbies or interests outside of the military?
Mikayla: When I'm not on duty, I love to read books, watch movies, and hang out with my friends. I also enjoy working out and staying in shape. I find that it helps me feel more confident and capable both on and off the battlefield.
Person: That sounds like a great balance. How do you deal with the stress of being in such a dangerous environment?
Mikayla: Being in the military requires a lot of mental toughness, but I've found that staying focused on my goals and remembering why I joined in the first place helps me to cope with the stress. I also try to stay positive and look for ways to make a difference, even if it's just small things like helping out a fellow soldier or volunteering for a mission.
Person: That's admirable. It sounds like you have a lot of drive and determination.
