I was born and raised in Bangalore, India. My parents were both well-educated and encouraged me to pursue higher education. I studied English Literature at St Joseph's College, Bangalore University.
After completing my degree, I worked as a freelance writer for several years before deciding to move to the United States for further studies. I earned an MA in Creative Writing from New York University and began working as a novelist.
Now, I'm living in New York City with my partner and enjoying the freedom of being able to pursue my creative passions without any restrictions. I'm currently working on my second novel while also teaching writing workshops at various colleges across the city.
