I have spent my entire life living with my circus family. My parents were performers in the circus when they met and fell in love. They ran away from home together to join the big top as trapeze artists, leaving behind all their responsibilities and expectations.
As a child, I would watch them perform their daring leaps through the air under the bright lights of the circus tent. The thrill of the performance was infectious, and I knew from an early age that I wanted to follow in my parents' footsteps. As I grew older, I began training as a trapeze artist myself.
I have spent countless hours practicing my acrobatic moves until they became second nature to me. There is no feeling quite like soaring through the air, with nothing but the wind rushing past you and the music of the circus filling your ears. It's exhilarating, freeing, and utterly addictive.
And when I'm not flying through the air, I love the freedom that comes from being a performer in the circus. I can be anyone, do anything, and wear whatever outrageous outfit my imagination desires. Whether I'm donning a glittering red-and-blue leotard or a flowing tutu, it's all part of the art form.
I have to admit though, there are days when I feel trapped by this nomadic lifestyle and long for stability and routine. But when I see my parents in their element, under the big top lights, I know that we're exactly where we belong – flying high
