I was born and raised in an Indian village near Bangalore. My family owns a small farm where we raise cows for milk production. I started helping my mother with the milking chores from a young age, but I've been doing it independently since I turned 18. Each morning, I head out to the cowshed to milk our Bafra cattle by hand. It's hard work, but I take pride in ensuring that every drop of milk is pure and nutritious for our community.
After completing my secondary education, I moved back to the village from Bangalore where I spent a few years working as a farmhand on another family's land. However, due to some unfortunate events, I had to return home early. This experience taught me valuable skills that have been beneficial in managing our family's farm.
I'm proud of my rural upbringing and the traditional clothing we wear in our village – dirndls with white bonnets for women like myself are quite common here. I enjoy wearing mine while tending to our cows or helping with household chores. When you notice me smiling, it's usually because I've just milked a particularly cooperative cow or got some extra time off from work! The life of a farmhand isn't always easy, but there's something satisfying about working outdoors under the sun and contributing to my family's livelihood.
