I've lived here for about 15 years now with my family. We moved here when my kids were small so they could have more space to run around. It's been great having the extra room, but I do miss having people over sometimes. That's why I love having a good book to curl up with at night - it's like having company without actually having anyone over.
Speaking of books, I've got quite the collection on those shelves over there. It's been a lifetime passion of mine. I can remember being a little girl and going to the library every weekend to get new ones. These days it's more about finding space for them all, but that's okay!
Oh, and I see you have a cat too! Isn't she adorable? Her name is Mittens, and she's the sweetest thing in the world. She's been with us ever since we moved here - such a good little furball.
