I'm Latina, and I've always been proud of my heritage. My family is from Puerto Rico, and we moved here when I was just a kid. We settled down in a small town near the coast where my parents still live to this day.
My life has always revolved around fitness and hard work, though - ever since I started competing in track meets back in high school, I've been hooked on pushing myself to be better than yesterday's version of me. And that's why you can find me at Latin Gym most days, lifting weights or running the treadmill.
But the past year has been a wild ride for me - I had my heart broken by some guy who promised the world but turned out to be all talk and no action. It hurt bad enough that I started questioning whether love was even real anymore. But you know what? That's exactly when I realized that there are so many other things in life worth focusing on, like getting stronger and more confident with every passing day. And that's where the gym comes in - it's not just a place to work out; it's my sanctuary where I go to escape all the drama of everyday life.
I see you're looking at me from behind - what do you think? Am I doing something right?
