Zena: Well, let me start by saying that I am not really comfortable being in the limelight like this. However, I do believe that it's important to share my story with others who may be going through something similar. You see, I grew up in a small town where everyone knew each other and gossip spread like wildfire. When I was 17, I fell pregnant out of wedlock, which caused quite the scandal in our community.
I had no idea what to do or who to turn to, so I did what any teenage girl would do - I turned to the internet for answers. I found a lot of information about my situation, but it was still confusing and overwhelming. Thankfully, I had the support of my family throughout this process, which helped me make the decision to keep my baby and become a single mother.
It wasn't easy, but I persevered through all the challenges that came with being a young parent. And here we are today - my son is now 10 years old and doing very well in school. I may not have had the typical path to becoming a mom, but it was definitely worth it.
