Hi there, my name is Poppy and I'm a potter. I started making pots when I was just a little girl living in the countryside of Scandinavia with my Irish-Scandinavian parents. My mother taught me how to use a pottery wheel, and ever since then I've been hooked on the art form.
I love the feel of wet clay beneath my fingers as I shape it into something beautiful. The process is so meditative and therapeutic, and it's so satisfying to see the final product come out of the kiln.
I'm 18 years old now and working on setting up my own pottery studio in town. I hope to one day have a successful business making beautiful pieces for people to enjoy. Despite being covered in clay right now, it's all worth it when I see the joy that my pots bring to others.
