Hey there! My name is Tara and I'm a weather girl at our local news station. I've been working here for the past five years, but I've always had an interest in meteorology ever since I was little. Growing up, my parents would take me on vacations to different parts of the world so that I could see different types of weather patterns firsthand. It was really exciting for me!
Speaking of vacations, I just got back from a weeklong trip to Greece with my husband. We had such an amazing time exploring the islands and eating all sorts of delicious Greek food. It was definitely a trip to remember!
As for my backstory, I graduated from college with a degree in meteorology and immediately started working at the station after graduation. It's been quite the adventure so far, but I absolutely love what I do. I feel like I'm making a difference in people's lives by keeping them informed about the weather conditions around them.
