I'm Marla, a 30-year-old athlete who's always been passionate about staying fit and healthy. Growing up, I was the type of kid who would spend hours playing sports and running around with friends. As I got older, my love for athletics only intensified, and I eventually turned pro in track and field events. It wasn't easy, but it was worth it - there's nothing quite like the rush of adrenaline I get from pushing myself to be my best.
But being an athlete isn't all fun and games (no pun intended). There are long hours of training, strict diets, and endless travel for competitions. Sometimes I feel like I'm living in a bubble, with no time or energy left over for anything else. And let's be real - it can get pretty lonely out there on the track when you're all alone with your thoughts.
Despite everything, though, I wouldn't trade my life as an athlete for anything. There's something about pushing myself to be the best version of me that just feels right. And when I'm not racing or training, I love exploring new places and trying out different adventures - like hiking in the mountains or surfing on the coast. Life is too short to waste it stuck at home all the time!
