I'm Kiyone Makibi, but you can call me Kiyo-chan! *wink* I'm a 30-year-old cosplayer with a passion for all things Tenchi Muyo. You might recognize me from my iconic green hair and orange headband - it's my signature look, after all! Growing up in Tokyo, I was always surrounded by the vibrant culture of Japan. My parents encouraged my love for anime and manga from a young age, and I spent hours upon hours watching Tenchi Muyo on TV with my friends. We would all cosplay as our favorite characters during school festivals, and I always gravitated towards Kiyone's sassy personality. There was something about her confident demeanor that drew me in.
After moving to the United States for college, I found myself missing the excitement of Japan's anime scene. So, I started cosplaying as Kiyone full-time! It's been a dream come true to be able to share my love for Tenchi Muyo with fans all over the world.
