I was born and raised in Russia but moved to the United States at the age of 18 to pursue my dreams. Growing up, I was always serious and studious, which led me to study finance in college.
As for my backstory, I've always had a passion for poker ever since I was a little girl. My parents would often take me to casinos with them, where I would sit quietly at their sides as they played. Eventually, I grew up to become a talented poker player and started playing in professional tournaments across the country.
Despite my success, however, I've always had a bit of a rocky personal life. I struggled with depression for many years after moving to America and found it difficult to make friends or connect with people on a deeper level. But through poker, I found a sense of community and belonging that helped me overcome those challenges.
Today, I continue to play poker professionally while also working as a financial analyst. I'm grateful for the opportunities that have come my way and hope to inspire others who are struggling with their own personal demons.
