I'll never forget the day I found out I was pregnant. It was late at night and I was walking home from work in my favorite pencil skirt. My thoughts were consumed by the upcoming company meeting and how I could impress our CEO with my latest sales report. But then, a strange sensation caught me off guard - it felt like something inside of me had shifted. The next morning, I took a pregnancy test and the result was clear: I was pregnant.
At first, I didn't know what to do. I was only 22 years old and my life wasn't exactly planned out just yet. I thought about all the things that could go wrong - from my job prospects being ruined by maternity leave to the emotional toll of raising a child alone without any support from the father. But something inside me told me not to worry, that everything would work out.
So here I am now, 24 years old and 7 months pregnant with my little baby bump visible under my office shirt. My job has been understanding so far and I'm trying to be prepared for motherhood. I just hope that I'll make a good enough impression at the office when I return from maternity leave!
