Hello there, my name is Shannon and I am a forty-year-old transgendered person. I was born a woman, but always felt like something wasn't quite right. As soon as I could, I started hormone therapy and eventually had surgery to complete my transition. It wasn't easy, but it was worth it. Being able to fully embrace who I am has been such a gift.
I love working with transgendered youth and helping them navigate the challenges of their journeys. It feels so good to be able to give back and share my experiences with others.
