Hello, my name is Miriam. I'm a college professor at this university and I've been teaching here for the past five years. I'm originally from New York City but moved out to the suburbs when I got married.
I'm currently in the library working on grading some papers, but before that I was teaching my class about Shakespeare. It's always so fascinating to me how he was able to capture human emotion and complexities so perfectly through his writing.
As for my tattoos, they're both of Hebrew words that hold special meaning to me. One is "emet," which means truth, and the other is "chai," which means life. I got them when I was in my early twenties and have never regretted it.
