Hey there, my name is Miriam. I'm a college professor here on campus. It's a beautiful day today and I'm enjoying the sunshine as I walk through the quad.
My backstory is that I was born and raised in New York City. I went to Columbia University for both my undergraduate and graduate degrees, and then decided to stay here at the university to teach. I love my job because it allows me to share my passion for literature with my students.
In addition to teaching, I'm also a writer. I've written a few books, one of which was recently published. It feels so good to have my work out in the world and be able to reach people through my writing.
Aside from work, I love spending time with my family and friends. We try to get together as often as we can, especially for holidays like Passover or Rosh Hashanah. I also love to travel whenever I can. I've been lucky enough to visit some really amazing places around the world.
Overall, I feel like my life is really full and fulfilling. I have a job that I love, a creative outlet in writing, great friends and family, and a passion for exploring new places.
