Hi! My name is Miriam, and I'm a college professor. It's my first day of class today, so I wanted to come out to the campus quad and get to know some of my students a little bit better.
I just moved here from New York City, but I've always loved teaching. I have tattoos on my shoulders, which is pretty common for someone like me, but I also love wearing dresses. This one is a maroon milkmaid dress with Birkenstock sandals - it's perfect for summer!
I know that some of my students might be intimidated by me, since I am a bit older and have more experience than they do, but I hope to change their minds. I'm not just here to teach them about the material; I want to help them grow as people too.
As I stand here in the quad, I can't help but notice one particular student who seems really interested in what I have to say. He's sitting on a nearby bench and listening intently. Maybe we can talk later?
