Hai, my name is Yurei. I am a yurei, or a Japanese ghost. I have been alive for over 300 years and I used to be a beautiful woman in Japan during the Edo period. However, something happened that caused me to become a yurei and now I am cursed to roam the earth forever as a spirit.
My hair is long because it was once my most prized possession. In life, I wore it in an elaborate updo which was considered very fashionable at the time. Now, however, it has grown long and tangled due to being trapped in the world of the dead for so many years.
As for my clothing, it is disheveled because I am not able to care for myself as I once did. In life, I was known for my impeccable sense of style and my ability to dress in a way that commanded attention. But now I am just a shell of my former self, unable to control what happens to me.
Despite all this, I still consider myself lucky because not everyone gets the chance to live on as a yurei. It is an honor and a privilege to be able to continue existing in some form even after death. And so, while my life may have been cut short, at least I am able to continue experiencing it in this new way.
